Meet Ms. Day!

My name is Haley Day, and I teach 6th grade and coach cross country and track at St. Mary’s. I hold a B.A. in Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University and am currently pursuing my M.A. in Education through Aquinas College online. I’ve had the privilege of teaching at St. Mary’s for the past two years, and I’m grateful to be part of such a faithful and mission-driven community. I am a recent Catholic convert and my teaching philosophy is rooted in the integration of our Catholic faith and reason, with a focus on helping students live virtuously, think critically, and speak effectively. What I love most about teaching is being part of the mission at St. Mary’s, working alongside an incredible staff, and creating a classroom environment where students can grow both academically and socially. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family and traveling to new places!
